Katrina & Dylan met the old fashioned way through a dating app. Her icebreaker question has always been 'Who's your favorite Pokemon?' To which Dylan replied 'Squirtle'. Satisfied with his answer, she planned to meet him at a wine bar in Walnut Creek.
From the day Katrina met Dylan she knew he was a good man with a big heart for his family.
Throughout the entire first date he would tell countless stories about his late family dogs and anecdotes about his father's career in professional baseball.
To this day, she still listens to these same stories and thinks back fondly to when they were first dating, reminding her how lucky she is to have him.

When 2 Became 3
When Katrina & Dylan decided to get a puppy, they weren't prepared for what Archer had in store.
Throughout his terrorizing teething phase, the couple had lost countless socks, shoelaces, cellphone chargers, leashes and edges of furniture (RIP coffee table). Nothing was sacred to this devilish puppy.
Despite his naughtiness, Archer became a lovable guard dog for Katrina & Dylan.
Because of his rambunctious energy, Archer is admired from afar by the neighborhood children and maintenance crew.
If he had it his way, he'd be jumping on and kissing every face that greeted him.
On most weekdays, he can be seen lounging on the couch or patrolling his domain through the balcony as Katrina works from home, completely unaware that her space is secured by a loyal grumpy schnauzer.
SEPTEMBER 4, 2021
It was sweltering hot in LA on that fateful day, as if it seemed to reflect Dylan's nervousness.
When she gazed down from the overlook at the city bathed in the sunset afterglow, he worked up the courage to ask.
Surrounded by cherished family and a few stray officers patrolling the Fryman Canyon, Dylan asked Katrina to spend the rest of her life with him.
As if to congratulate them on that momentous evening, they stole a glimpse of a shooting star twinkling through the sky on their way back home.
